Also the Netflix option isnt currently available on the Apple TV hardware mainly due to a Silverlight issue. The company has said that getting Netflix working on the Apple TV this is a top precedence.
Although adding Netflix is a good step, Boxee still isnt commercially feasible. Big companies like Apple and Microsoft are trying to figure out how to connect your life history room to the Internet, with some success. Meanwhile, it’s going to be very hard to convince cable companies and consumer electronics makers that they need third-party software they don’t encounter, like Boxee.And its still a niggling too technical for mainstream useage but then it is still in alpha mode.
